Thanks to our Cultural Affairs Chair, Heidrun Burghardt, we were treated to a delightful talk by the Conductor of the Pasadena Community Orchestra and
Grammy Award winning Flutist. Bethany Plueger at our October luncheon.  And better yet, she treated us to hearing her play the Bach Sonata in A Minor

A SHORT BIO:  Bethany Pflueger, a native of central Ohio, is an active conductor, flutist and educator in Southern California.  She is currently the conductor of the Pasadena Community Orchestra and the Glendale College/Community Orchestra. She is Music Department Chair at Glendale Community College, where she teaches music theory and performance courses.  She plays principal flute with the Burbank Philharmonic and the Peninsula Symphony, and performs regularly as a freelance player with regional orchestra and chamber music groups.
